COURSE DESCRIPTION
The course is a scenic 3.1 mile out & back route along beautiful Dudley
Pond. The starting line is at Mansion
Beach . The first mile has small, rolling hills and follows the
shoreline of the pond. Starting at the one-mile mark, the course turns away from
the pond and heads uphill to the halfway mark. The route loops back and
eventually heads back to the finish line at Mansion Beach. A fast downhill
/ flat section finishes the run.
Walkers follow the same route, but turn around at the 1
mile mark.
There are several kids' courses based on age, ranging from
25 yards to a quarter mile.

From the Mass Pike:
 | Exit the Pike at Exit 13 (Rt. 30, Natick). |
 | After toll, bear left to Rt. 30 east. |
 | Turn left at first light onto Speen St.. |
 | Take Speen to the end and turn right onto Old Connecticut Path. |
 | Travel for approx. one mile until you enter Wayland. |
 | Turn right at the next intersection onto West Plain St.. |
 | Mansion Rd. is the next left, you will see Dudley Pond
- You may have to park on West Plain. |
From North of Wayland:
 | Take Rt. 126 or Rt. 27 south to Wayland Center (Rt. 20). |
 | Continue south, bear right at the next light, staying on Rt. 126. |
 | Follow for approx. 1 ½ miles. |
 | Turn left onto West Plain 7/10 mile past Lavin's Liquors. |
 | Mansion Rd is the next left, you will see Dudley Pond -
You may have to park on West Plain. |
ABOUT DUDLEY POND ASSOCIATION
Dudley Pond is located at the southern end of Wayland and covers 84 acres. It
has been designated as a Great Pond by the State of Massachusetts. It is well
known for its bass fishing and spectacular sunsets. The Dudley Pond Association
is a 501-c(3) nonprofit organization consisting of an active group of neighbors and friends
who support a common effort to uphold and preserve the present the pond. Your
contribution to the effort of preserving the quality of Dudley Pond as a natural
resource for the community is most appreciated.
